Wright Tech - On October 30 SVFT President , Rick Tanasi, and SVFT Vice-President, Pat Keavney, met with Stamford Mayor, Dannel Malloy. The mayor was frank and candid but not optimistic. He shared that in the past he offered testimony in favor of maintaining Wright Tech as a 9 12 grade technical high school, but that at this point he feels he cannot continue to support this effort. Following the meeting with the mayor, Pat and Rick met with the Wright Tech staff. While at the school they were surprised and dismayed to discover that a Counselors Breakfast had taken place earlier that day and included only high school counselors from surrounding towns..
